Beta
Best known for their ever popular trial bikes, Beta specialized in off road motorcycles as an Italian motorcycle manufacturer, even though they started as a bicycle manufacturing plant in 1904 known as “Societe Giuseppe Bianchi” originally located in Florence. In 1948 they started making motorcycles with the Beta name which comes from the initials of Enzo Bianchi and Arrigo Tosi. During the 1950’s and 60’s the company mainly focused on 2 stroke bikes and then moved to off road models in the 1970’s. Beta produced a range of motocross, enduro, and trials bikes during the 70’s and 80’s.
