To completely recondition the engine on a vintage bike parts that need to be cleaned and inspected are: cylinder head, top end bearings, drain bolt, push rods, intake valves, camshaft bushings, valve buckets, wrist pin bushings, oil filler cap, cam chain tensioner, pistons, push rods, engine case covers, valve seals, tachometer, timing belt cover, valve shims, piston rings, crankshaft, valve guides, valve seals, valve springs, crankshaft, circlips, oil filter, cam chain, gaskets, valve covers, exhaust valves, camshaft and more in order to rebuild the motor of a vintage bike. The vintage bike mechanic will carefully clean and inspect transmission parts that include but are not limited to: clutch basket, clutch top cover, transmission top cover, clutch springs, clutch plates, transmission mainshaft, mainshaft drive gear, transmission side cover, mainshaft drive gear spacer, mainshaft nut, transmission pulley nut, transmission lock kit, clutch cables, clutch push rod, transmission case, mainshaft nut, mainshaft drive gears and more to rebuild the transmission on a vintage bike.

Rewiring might need to be done in order to refurbish the electrical system on a vintage bike.
